All of RUSD and the entire community want to thank Christina Bosch for her years of service with the Foundation for Reed Schools. Your dedication to our families, staff, and students has made a real difference in our school district. Thank you so much for your dedication and support. Welcome back to the 2022-23 school year! Great news! An RUSD family, who would like to remain anonymous, has generously offered to provide pizza this Friday for every single student in the district. This family read the news that we would be unable to offer free lunch this week and made a significant donation to the Foundation for Reed Schools to cover the cost of lunch for all 1025 students. We are so grateful to this family! RUSD has a 40-year history of parents stepping up when needed. Thank you to this family and to the Foundation for this kindness and generosity!

On Tuesday, we (along with many other school districts in the area) received word from The LunchMaster, our new lunch vendor, that the organization would not be able to provide breakfast or lunch for 7 days due to their issues with supplies, equipment, and labor. The seven days begin this Thursday and continue through next week.

I would like to welcome our new families and returning families to the 2022-2023 school year! Our team is preparing for an awesome year ahead. As we get closer to the first day of school, I'm so excited about our new PreK! We are adding a whole new grade level to RUSD. We have two fantastic PreK teachers and two instructional aides to serve our two full classes at Reed. Please make our new TK/PreK students and families feel welcome. Big thanks to all of the amazing RUSD staff for your role in implementing a new grade level. Welcome!
