June 15, 2022
During the June 7th Reed Union School District Board meeting, it was brought to our attention that some residents of East Corte Madera are circulating a Territory Transfer petition. Currently, the Reed Union School District includes students that reside in Tiburon, Belvedere and East Corte Madera. The Territory Transfer petition proposes that the school boundary lines for a portion of East Corte Madera, including 19 streets that are currently in the Reed Union School District, be redrawn and transferred to the Larkspur Corte Madera School District. This petition is the first step of a Territory Transfer process.

We hope that you have an enjoyable holiday weekend. As you may know, Marin County has reported high cases of COVID-19 in our community. We care about the health and safety of your family and support your decisions for personal safety. Marin Public Health strongly recommends masking indoors while cases are high in the community, optimizing ventilation, testing on Day 5 after exposure to a positive person, and isolating if symptomatic with testing. RUSD strives to ensure students have access to what they need for a family's personal choice.
