• Welcome to the 2018-19 School Year!

The Del Mar Parent & Teacher Association has one mission: To enrich the lives of our children and school community.

As parents of a busy middle schooler, the best way for you to make the most of the brief Del Mar years is to join the PTA and engage.  Every level of participation, from a simple family membership to actively helping us raise & save much needed funds, is rewarding and highly valued.

Want to get involved?  Great!  There are a variety of ways you can support the PTA here at Del Mar:

**JOIN IT!  We need Everyone to care about the kids, the teachers, the school and our RUSD Mission of developing children into their full potential.   Every parent can find a meaningful place on our team!

** Opt-in to pay your annual dues, and make valuable online purchases that support the PTA here:

** Sign your child up for nutritious Choice Lunch options here:  http://www.choicelunch.com

** Attend PTA meetings, which are held the second Thursday of every month at 8:20 in the Del Mar library.  PTA meetings are open to all dues-paying members, and everyone is encouraged to come.  Please mark you calendars now:

    ** Watch for PTA Communication:

    • The District and Del Mar "News Flash" comes via email on Wednesdays and contains everything you need to know.  This is the main communication for all parents, so please watch your email!

As parents & teachers ourselves, we understand the challenges that come with raising middle schoolers. The PTA provides many opportunities for parents to meet, share stories, laugh and make a real difference at our school.  The Del Mar community is a true treasure, and I wish for all of us to share the good fortune!

I look forward to seeing you on campus during the coming year.  Please contact me with any questions, feedback, or if you are interested in volunteering.

    Warmly,
