    Dear Reed Parents,

On behalf of Reed School's Parent Teacher Association, I would like to extend a warm welcome to new and returning students and their families. The mission of the PTA is to enrich the lives of our children and the school community. The Reed School PTA is comprised of a group of dedicated parent and teacher volunteers working together towards creating the best possible educational environment for every child at Reed. The PTA exists because we believe, as research has proven, that children do better when their parents and families are involved both at home and at school. Grades elevate. Test scores rise. Self-esteem grows. Schools improve. If you are interested in learning more or want to get involved, please join us for a PTA meeting. Our monthly PTA meetings are generally on the second Wednesday of the month. Thank you for supporting Reed School!

There are many ways you can support the PTA at Reed:

    • Become a Member! - The PTA relies upon annual family PTA membership dues to fund our many programs. At Reed, the PTA supports student enrichment, community building events, parent education, and staff appreciation.

**You can take care of Membership Dues online here.

    • Order Spirit Wear– Support the Reed PTA and show your Reed spirit with Reed Spirit Wear!

    • Attend PTA meetings - PTA meetings are open to all dues-paying members and are a terrific way to stay connected at Reed. Our  principal, Dr. Niesyn, regularly attends our meetings and gives insightful updates on what is going on at Reed. PTA meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month at 8:45am for socializing and 9:00am meeting start time at Reed.

Details about PTA events throughout the year will be communicated in a number of ways – please look for your biweekly Reed News Flash as well as Room Parent emails and Teacher emails. You can also use these links to check online:
