Ms. Conlon

  • I am honored to be working with diverse learners at Bel Aire Elementary.  Our team here is dedicated to identifying and serving the educational needs of children who learn differently. I've been a special education teacher since 2005. It is my joy to teach our special needs students and to work closely with families, classroom teachers, special education colleagues, and other specialists.

I'm a Southern California native and received my B.A. in Music Education at UCLA. Rediscovering a passion for working with individuals with disabilities, I studied for my multiple subjects and education specialist credentials at Dominican University and completed my Master's in Special Education and Autism Authorization there as well. I've been privileged to work as a special education teacher in a variety of schools in the Bay Area, and have served as a Resource Specialist here at Bel Aire since 2017.

A few other things to know about me - I have three grown children and am fortunate to have two young grandchildren living nearby! I love to spend time with them and I also enjoy gardening, hiking, reading, cooking, movies, keeping up with the news, and generally appreciating all that the beautiful Bay Area outdoors has to offer.
