I am excited to be returning to my 15th year at Bel Aire Elementary school in my role as Intervention Specialist! 

I am fortunate to coordinate and implement  Bel Aire’s Academic Workshops, which provides support to general education students in small groups in the areas of reading decoding, reading fluency, reading comprehension and math. I also test and provide instruction to our English Learners.  I have over 21 years of experience as an Educational Specialist and have worked in a variety of settings including: Learning Centers, Resource Programs,  and Special Day Class programs in California, Hawaii, and Rhode Island. It is my passion to help all students grow and learn academically, socially, and emotionally.

When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my eleven-year-old son. We love camping, hiking, going to the beach, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to collaborating with you and helping your child have a successful school year!
