¡Hola!, my name is Señora Janette Mutilva.  I am an Intro Spanish teacher at Del Mar Middle School as well as the Spanish teacher at Bel Aire Elementary School. I am a mother of three children, ages 15, 13, and 8.  My love for the Spanish language comes from my father's side of the family, all of whom live in Pamplona, Spain, where I would visit every summer to spend time with extended family, enjoy the festivities of San Fermín, and relax beach-side both on the north coast and the Mediterranean coast.  I continued to travel to Spain and throughout Europe as a teen, young adult, and with my husband and children. Our family of five spent a year living in Spain and traveling to 14 countries. 

My love of culture encompasses language, traditions, and experiences.  I hope to inspire my students to find their joy in this rich language and culture during the time we spend together.
