Welcome to Mr. Sanchez's Classroom!

I received my teaching credential through the CalStateTEACH program in 2015.  In my time with RUSD, I have taught in Kindergarten, 2nd Grade and 4th Grade classrooms.  

I have a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Alabama / Alabama Shakespeare Festival Professional Actor Training Program,  and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Redlands. Prior to teaching, I enjoyed a successful stage acting career, followed by several years providing strategic, mission-based leadership for The Redwoods, A Community of Seniors in Mill Valley, among other Marin County nonprofits.

My wife, Stacia Sanchez, is also a teacher at Bel Aire.  We met in college in Southern California and were married in 1995.   We live in San Anselmo with our two incredible children, Carmen and Roman.  We love to go camping, spend sunny days at Stinson Beach, hike and picnic on Mt. Tam, go on family bike rides, listen to live music outdoors, and explore and discover this wonderful bay region that we call home!
