    How Do I Get Involved?

    There are many opportunities to volunteer at Reed both in the classroom and on campus. Certain roles are recruited for and assigned at the beginning of the year through the Volunteer Coffee, while recruitment for others is ongoing throughout the year. If you are not able to attend the Volunteer Coffee, please don’t hesitate to contact your Room Parent Scheduler about any positions you are interested in volunteering for by email, or to ask any questions.

     

    The following Class Room Coordinator positions are recruited for at the Volunteer Coffee:

       Car Line Coordinator

       Class Party Coordinator(s)

    •  Field Trip Coordinator

       Regatta Art Project Volunteer(s)

       Yearbook Photo Volunteer(s)

       Kinder Safety Day Volunteers (in Kinder classes only)

     

    In addition, the following PTA Campus Committees will be recruiting volunteers at the Volunteer Coffee 

       Art

       Book Fair (District in Fall / Reed in Spring)

       Garden

       • Recess Activities

       Hot Lunch

       Library

       Other special events

     

    The Foundation for Reed Schools (www.foundationforreedschools.com), will also be recruiting volunteers at the Volunteer Coffee.

     

    The following volunteer opportunities are signed up for on an on-going basis either through your Room Parent Scheduler or by the PTA event committees. You will receive direct emails through your Room Parent Scheduler/PTA about these slots.
