Honeywell Instant Alert

Schedules change. Buses run late. Emergencies occur.

With Honeywell Instant Alert, schools can let parents know more quickly and conveniently.

No need to rely on the media, the grapevine or the faint hope that students will remember there's an important flier in their backpack. Instant Alert brings the news directly to parents and they can decide how and where they receive messages.

There are five levels of alerts: School Closing, High Importance, Transportation, Activities, and General. You must choose which levels of alerts you want to receive, and how you want to receive them. You can receive alerts via phone, email, text message, or pager. If you have selected only School Closing alerts, you will not receive an alert when the buses run late. If you have only selected Transportation, you will not receive School Closing alerts, or High Importance alerts. You can choose any combination of alert levels and ways to receive them that you want.

We encourage all Parents to register for alerts. Honeywell is a very effective tool for getting information to parents, and will be used in a greater and greater capacity in the future.

If you have any problems with the Honeywell Instant Alert for Schools systems please contact Charlie Kryszewski. ckryszewski@marin.k12.ca.us or (415) 924-8050
